Alexander Carstens
Hello! I’m Al and I’m happy to introduce myself. I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, USA. After traveling internationally at 20 years old I decided that I want to help people around the world reach their potential as professionals and as human beings.
Beginning in 2013 I went to South Korea to teach English in the South Korean public school system. I developed and refined my knowledge of English Education with the help of many amazing colleagues and mentors. I lived and taught in South Korea for 3 years, finishing in 2016.
In 2016 I moved to Tokyo, Japan to live and teach English in a private English school. I continued to refine my English teaching style and helped English language learners with wide ranging goals and expectations. In 2019 I moved back to the United States, Southern California to be specific.
Now I am here with you! I am a very friendly and open minded teacher. I hope I can make you feel comfortable and enjoy learning English!
